Team Goh Motorsports Inc. is pleased to announce that it will compete in the following races as the name McLaren Customer Racing Japan (Representative: Nobuyuki Shima; Director: Masaru Okazawa; Chief Engineer: Hiroyoshi Donuma). This will be our first partnership with McLaren since 1996, when we won the Japan GT Championship as Team LARK McLaren.
Autobacs Super GT 2019 Series – GT300 class (administered by GT Association)
We will compete with a McLaren 720S GT3 running on Yokohama tyres. The car will be driven by Seiji Ara (Japan) and Álex Palou Montalbo (Spain).
Pirelli Super Taikyu Series 2019 (administered by the Super Taikyu Organization, S.T.O).
We will compete with a McLaren 720S GT3 running on Pirelli tyres. The car will be driven by Álex Palou Montalbo (Spain) , Sena Sakaguchi (Japan) and Takayuki Kinoshita (Japan).
Intercontinental GT Challenge 2019 Suzuka 10 Hours (Round 4) (scheduled for August 24 and 25, 2019, to be administered by GT Association, and SRO Motorsports Group)
We will compete with two McLaren 720S GT3 cars running on Pirelli tyres. The drivers will be announced later.
Team Goh Motorsports has inherited all of the passion for racing and winning that characterized former privateer Team Goh, which was the overall winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2004 as well as other races. We aim to participate on the international racing scene again, harnessing the combined efforts of our drivers, engineers, and other personnel, while drawing on our accumulated experience and expertise and tapping the potential of up-and-coming young prospects.
