Reigning champions Christopher Mies and Connor De Phillippi will be going all out to defend their ADAC GT Masters title in 2017.
Christopher Mies (27, GER) and co-driver Connor De Phillippi (24, USA) will be driving the car with the number 1 on its bonnet. As in last year’s championship-winning campaign, they will be competing in an Audi R8 LMS entered by Montaplast by Land-Motorsport.
In 2016, the debut season in the Super Sports Car League for the outfit owned and managed by Wolfgang Land, Mies and De Phillippi won the title at the first attempt. Along the way, they secured one race victory and a further six podium places. De Phillippi also lifted the Junior trophy.
“I want to be making as many podium appearances as possible,” says Mies when asked about his objectives for 2017. “It’s great to be continuing as part of the setup at Montaplast by Land-Motorsport. The team is one of the best in GT sports, and it’s a lot of fun driving for them.”
