ARC Bratislava enters Mercedes-AMG for California 8 Hours

Slovakian racing squad ARC Bratislava has entered a Mercedes-AMG GT3 for the final round of the 2018 Intercontinental GT Challenge, the California 8 Hours. At the wheel of the uniquely-liveried Mercedes-AMG, team owner Miro Konopka will get the company of two yet to be determined drivers.

ARC Bratislava celebrates its 21st birthday in 2018. In the past the Slovakian squad has been a stalwart in many an endurance championship, including the Blancpain GT Series. After a first taste in the 2016 Total 24 Hours of Spa, it was only a matter of time before they would compete again in the Intercontinental GT Challenge, the only global championship exclusively reserved for GT cars.

At the final round of the 2018 season, the California 8 Hours (26-28 October) ARC Bratislava will be present with a Mercedes-AMG GT3. The car will obviously be in its traditional, but unique ARC livery, combining yellow with rainbow-coloured stripes. At the moment of writing only team owner Miro Konopka is listed as one of the three drivers, with the other two names yet to be announced.
