B-Quik Racing is pleased to support the opening of the newest B-Quik Service Centre, which will be officially inaugurated tomorrow (Friday 31 August) at the MEGA Bangna shopping centre in Bangna, Bangkok.
MEGA Bangna is one of the city’s landmark retail shopping developments and includes a Multiplex cinema as well as an IKEA store. It will be the company’s Service Centre No. 147 in Thailand.
B-Quik Racing is pleased to be sponsored by B-Quik as we both share the same ambitions, driven by a highly competitive desire to be the absolute best.
B-Quik Racing will support the official store opening by presenting one of our roster of leading-edge racecars, the #27 Audi R8 LMS Ultra GT3, which is currently running in South east Asia’s most prestigious racing category, Super Car GTM Plus, the headline class of Thailand Super Series.
Built to meet FIA GT3 specification, the Audi R8 Ultra GT3 features a mid-mounted 5.2-litre V10 all-aluminium engine fitted to a 6-speed sequentially-operated transmission. It has 570 hp/500 Nm and a power-to-weight ratio of 0.46 bhp/kg.
The car’s spaceframe chassis is constructed from aluminium and finished with a mix of aluminium and carbon fibre bodywork that allows it to weigh in at just 1250 kg. The suspension features coil over dampers and roll bars and it runs on 12J (front)/13J (rear) 18-inch wheels, while stopping capability comes courtesy of ABS and ventilated brake discs all round.
Our #27 Audi R8 LMS Ultra GT3 arrived from Europe in March just time to join the Thailand Super Series 2018 and has so far competed the opening three rounds (and six races) with Daniel Bilski as the lead driver, the experienced Australian sharing the car at Sepang International Circuit (Round 1) with Henk J. Kiks (Netherlands) and then Rahel Frey (Switzerland) at Chang International Circuit (Round 2) and most recently with Adderly Fong (Hong Kong) as his team mate at the Bangsaen Grand Prix (Round 3).
