B-Quik to continue supporting Will Bamber in 2018

B-Quik Racing is pleased to announce that we will support Will Bamber’s challenge for honours this year’s in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia 2018 (PCCA) while the young New Zealander will also be drafted into the team to assist with set up and coach our drivers during Thailand Super Series 2018.

Last year we were pleased to support Will during his debut year in PCCA and he really stirred things up and left his mark. It was a season that saw the rookie fighting it out at the front all season with the absolute highlight being a sensational double victory at the Bangsaen Grand Prix where he performed an amazing clean sweep, two poles leading to two wins that came after he led every lap of both the races.

So, now we’re very interested to see just what he can achieve this year. We expect Will to build on that stunning debut season and challenge for the prestigious PCCA title – a crown that was previously won by his older brother Earl on his way to international stardom that includes double overall victory in the Le Mans 24 Hours.

We firmly believe that the Bamber talent pool runs just as deeply in Will as in Earl so we’re happy to support his programme again this year, which in a neat twist, will see his #12 Porsche 991 GT3 Cup entered by the newly minted Earl Bamber Motorsport.

We’re also please that Will is going to hook up with the B-Quik Racing technical staff this year and take his place on our pitwall assisting with the car setup and coaching the drivers.

Will Bamber: “I’m pretty excited to be back in Carrera Cup Asia for a second season in 2018, driving in a new team, Earl Bamber Motorsport, and it’s amazing to once again have the support and partnership with B-Quik. I can’t thank them enough for their generosity. I’m really looking forward to being part of the team’s bigger picture and joining them in Thailand Super Series as well, as their driver coach, and I’m also looking forward to racing again on one of my favourite tracks in the world, Bangsaen, which is B-Quik’s home soil, so hopefully we can repeat what we did in 2017 and get a victory.”
