Bentley Motorsport’s newest customer team, K-PAX Racing, will contest the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) SprintX series with Bentley works team drivers Andy Soucek (ES) and Maxime Soulet (BE), and full PWC season entrants Alvaro Parente (PT) and Rodrigo Baptista (BR).

For the first time in four years, Andy Soucek and Maxime Soulet – who have raced together in Europe, Asia and Australasia – will compete against each other in separate Continental GT3s, as Soucek partners with Parente and Soulet with Baptista.

With the 2016 Pirelli World Championship title to his name, Parente is no stranger to the series and its 10 events on a mix of street and track circuits. The rising star of the team, 21-year old Baptista, took four GTS class wins in 2017 and is ready to step-up to the front-running class.

Bentley’s Director of Motorsport Brian Gush comments:
“K-PAX Racing is one of the top names in GT3 racing in the USA and we have been very impressed with their operation so far. We’re committed to ensuring they have extremely good access to all of Bentley’s services, including industry-leading engineering expertise and our world-class works drivers. The SprintX pairings are very strong and we’ll be aiming for race wins in our debut season together.

“The USA plays hugely important role in Bentley’s global customer motorsport programme that also spans Europe, Asia and Australasia and we’re looking forward to another exciting season of racing in the Pirelli World Challenge.”

The Pirelli World Challenge comprises 10 events, five of which are two-driver SprintX races. K-PAX racing will enter the full 2018 season with two cars piloted by Parente and Baptista, with the seat in the third car still available.
