Dunn and Yount unveil livery and add familiar faces to PPM Daytona 24 Hour Lineup

Team driver Steve Dunn, who contested the Road America round of Super Trofeo, as well as taking a podium finish in the SRO Intercontinental GT Challenge California 8 Hour at Laguna Seca with the team, is returning to Precision Performance Motorsports (PPM) to take on the Daytona high banks for the first time in GT3 machinery.

Steve is no stranger to the banks of the World Center of Racing, having previously contested PCA (Porsche Club of America) endurance races at the track. Dunn is supported by Killer Dana Surf Shop of Dana Point, CA and Engineered Demolition Inc. of Denver, Colorado.

“I am thrilled to be with Don and Linus supported by the unparalleled professionalism of PPM for the biggest sports car race in North America”, said Dunn. “With the 2019 Huracan EVO we expect to compete well with the best in the business.

Adding to the talent in the #47 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO is IMSA WeatherTech Endurance regular, and 2018 IMSA Six Hours at the Glen winner Don Yount.

Yount will get his first taste of Sant’Agata built machinery at the Roar Before the 24 test days. He has previously driven BMW GT cars and Prototype cars in the series, and at Daytona.

Yount is supported by another familiar face in the IMSA paddock, Richard Rawlings’ Gas Monkey Energy and Southwest Funding. The newest addition to the ever-growing global Gas Monkey brand, Gas Monkey Energy Drink gives you a natural energy boost to fuel your day.

“I’m excited to be at my fourth Daytona in a row, and looking forward to getting in the PPM Lamborghini and getting acclimated to the team and the car at the Roar.”, said Yount.

Dunn and Yount join Sunoco Whelen Challenge winner and BRDC Formula 3 champion, Linus Lundqvist in the #47 entry. PPM is looking ahead to the Roar Before the 24 test days after taking delivery of their Huracan GT3 EVO, fresh off the boat from Italy.

The first outing for IMSA’s WeatherTech Championship is the Roar Before the 24 test days, leading up to the illustrious 24 Hours of Daytona, January 26-27, 2019.
