FFF Racing will make a remarked return to Europe for the 2019 season. Founded in 2014, and immediately a winner in the GT Asia in 2015, the Chinese team contested the Michelin GT3 Cup in 2016, switching to the International GT Open in 2017. Last year was a sensational season for FFF Racing Team by ACM, winning the Super Trofeo Middle East and Asia Championships, whilst also sweeping to overall outright victory in the Blancpain GT Series Asia. In addition, the team took Pro-Am honors as well as the teams’ title to make it a perfect clean sweep.
Still, 2019 is expected to be even more exciting. ORANGE1 FFF RACING TEAM enters two cars in the Blancpain GT Series, two brand new Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO, to be entrusted to Lamborghini Squadra Corse Factory Drivers. Car #563 will see a very special line-up for the Endurance Cup, as Andrea Caldarelli (29 years-old, Italian, 2017 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup Champion), who is also the Team Principal at FFF Racing by ACM, will be paired with Dennis Lind (27, Danish, 2018 Blancpain GT Asia Champion) and Marco Mapelli (31, Italian, 2018 Blancpain GT Series Asia Pro-Am class Champion). In the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe, an all-Italian line-up, Caldarelli-Mapelli, will drive the Orange Lambo.
The ORANGE1 FFF RACING TEAM entry in the continental series is not limited to one car. In addition, the orange-black #519 will take part to Blancpain GT Series campaign, with a full Lamborghini Squadra Corse line-up composed of Phil Keen (35, British, 2018 British GT Championship runner-up), Frank Perera (34, French, 2017 Blancpain GT Series runner-up) and Giovanni Venturini (27, Italian, 2017 International GT Open Champion). The #519 program is not limited to the Endurance, as in the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe Keen will be paired in Pro-Am with Hiroshi Hamaguchi (42, Japanese, 2018 Blancpain GT Series Asia Pro-Am class champion), who has a very special place in the Hall of Fame of FFF Racing, as he scored its maiden victory, alongside Vitantonio Liuzzi, in 2015.
FFF Racing Team by ACM will also enter a third Lamborghini Huracan GT3. Diego Menchaca (24, Mexican, former F3 and World Series podium finisher) will make his debut in the GT world, paired with Taylor Proto (21, British, 2018 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America runner-up) in the Silver Cup in the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe, with car #555. A valuable addition for the Silver Cup will be represented by Michele Beretta (24, Italian, 2017 Italian GT Championship Super GT3 Pro Champion) in the Endurance Cup.
FFF Racing Team by ACM’s first official appearance is set for the Blancpain GT Series collective test at Paul Ricard, on 13-14 March 2019.
