FFF Racing by ACM are pleased to confirm its driver line-up in the forthcoming SRO GT Asia campaign which gets underway in April. Alberto Di Folco and Aidan Read team up together, while the sister Lamborghini Huracan GT3 will be driven by Ho-Pin Tung and Zhu Junhan.
As previously announced, the team have opted to join the new SRO-backed series in what is expected to be a tight and competitive GT3 field.
In what will be the Silver-Silver entry, Read comes from a background in Formula Masters and recently competed in both LMP3 and LMP2 machinery in the Asian Le Mans Series. Alberto Di Folco took top honours in Super Trofeo Europe in 2014. In the Pro-Am entry Ho-Pin Tung is internationally recognised thanks to his extensive single-seater and GT experience while Zhu Junhan is all set for his first season in GT racing.
“It’s a great pleasure to confirm our drivers for the coming season,” stated FFF Racing Team Owner, Sean Fu Songyang. “This is a new championship and a new challenge for us and with these four drivers. It will be interesting to see how quickly Aidan and Alberto get up to speed – and they will – while we know Ho-Pin Tung will be competitive in the sister car. Zhu Junhan is all set for his first full season in sports cars and we believe we can be competitive with both cars.”
The championship consists of six rounds, starting with Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia in April and concludes in October at the Chinese Zhejiang Circuit.
