FFF Racing dominate the Dubai Super Trofeo Middle East weekend

FFF Racing by ACM enjoyed a near perfect race weekend (16 – 17 February) as the Super Trofeo Middle East Series reconvened for the second round of the championship at Dubai Autodrome.

The weekend started off with a great pole position for the #5 pairing of Jack Bartholomew and debutant James Pull, who went on to lead a dominant 1-2 result for the Chinese-based team, taking both Pro and Am victories.

It wasn’t an easy victory for the duo as teammate and Am driver Taylor Proto kept the pressure on his more experienced teammates in the #55 Lamborghini Huracan, finishing the race less than a second adrift after another impressive performance.

With a perfect score on the Friday, Saturday brought yet more Silverware for the team with Pull and Bartholomew making it back-to-back victories after another impressive drive, while Proto was third overall on this occasion, claiming at Am honours once again.

In the LB Cup, the team also took victory with two wins from two starts with the #15 entry, making it no less than six wins for the team over race weekend.

“We’re delighted with the results we have achieved this weekend,” Managing Director Massimo Bottiglieri began. “We’re proving to be a championship winning team with our team and driver package. Jack has made big steps forward compared to last year and even from the last race in Abu Dhabi.

“It was the first time for James with us too and his first time in a GT car and he’s a very promising talent. He’s on a steep learning curve and he showed well and we look forward to working with him again.

“It’s been such a positive weekend but we know we need to remain focused as it’s only the start of the year and there are many races ahead in various championships that we want to win!”

The final round of the Super Trofeo Middle East championship takes place again at Dubai Autodrome March 1-3, albeit in a different configuration.
