FFF Racing look forward to International GT Open season-opener in Portugal

FFF Racing by ACM are all set for the new season of International GT Open which gets underway this weekend (28-29 April, 2017) in Estoril, Portugal.

Former Formula One driver Vitantonio Liuzzi needs no introduction and leads the Pro-Am driver line-up and is joined by Hiroshi Hamaguchi, who like Liuzzi, is no stranger to the team having competed – and secured two podium positions – last year in the Michelin Le Mans Cup.

“Vitantonio and Hiroshi have had a very good pre-season testing programme,” stated FFF Racing Team Owner, Sean Fu Songyang. “We have been running at the top of the timesheets and so are looking to challenge to win this GT Open Championship in our Lamborghini Squadra Corse supported Huracan GT3.

“Hiroshi spent last season learning a lot of the circuits, so this year will hit the ground running and I believe we have one of the strongest driver line-ups in the field to challenge for overall honours.”

24 cars will line up for the first race of the International GT Open, which gets underway at 15.15 local time Saturday for a 70-minute race. Sunday’s race is 60 minutes in duration and gets underway at 13.15.
