FFF Racing Team raced to a top seven result in the Asian Le Mans Series 4 Hours of Buriram – the third and penultimate round of the 2016-17 season – at Chang International Circuit in Thailand (6-8 January).
The Roger Dubuis-supported outfit’s skill and expertise was used to perfect its Lamborghini Huracan GT3’s balance and driveability and this enabled drivers Matt Bell, Hiroshi Hamaguchi and Vitantonio Liuzzi to translate a top ten grid position into a seventh-place result in what was another highly competitive Asian LMS race.
FFF Racing Team Owner, Sean Fu Songyang, said: “We made positive strides with the Lamborghini Huracan, all three drivers put in stellar performances and the team showed skill and initiative throughout. Hiroshi’s drive, especially his ability to deal with traffic, was particularly impressive, and I have to thank the team for doing a fantastic job in refining the Lamborghini’s balance. What we learn in the Asian Le Mans Series is valuable and will be carried into our other European and Asian campaigns so it has been a very positive weekend in all aspects.”
