Motorsport Asia Limited – the promoter of the GT Asia Series – has confirmed that they will postpone the start of the 2017 season which was scheduled for Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on 10-12 March.
An announcement concerning the revised calendar for the 2017 GT Asia Series season will be released in the coming days, once teams, stakeholders and partners have been consulted, however the Series will continue into a seventh season.
Despite the fact that GT Asia will not be on the programme for Sepang, the opening round of the 2017 TCR Asia Series will continue at the venue as scheduled.
