that blows in Burgundy but it is the heat wave that welcomes the competitors of the V of V Endurance Series for the kick-off of the meeting on the Dijon-Prenois circuit.

LMP / PFV: Heat doesn’t spoil the pleasure

Simpson Motorsport made its mark this first day of action by winning twice at the top of the PFV ranking. The Ginetta n°32 of Tomlinson / Robertson (no provisional time in EL1) replaces the Ginetta G57 n°52 of Sanders / Fielding and at the end of the morning session Pegasus Racing asserted itself as the outsider with the n°57 Muston / Simpson, 2nd, and the n°29 Schell / Raffin / Caussanel. In the clan of the LMP3, N’Race, for its return, puts the Ligier JS P3 n°93 of Fontaine / Decultot / Perroy on the frontline, occupied in the afternoon by Duqueine Engineering and its new Norma M30 n°8 entrusted to Borga / Henqvist. The latter are ahead of their team-mates Legeret/ Panciatici who have the Ligier n°9 that won in Barcelona. After a cautious start, Inter Europol Competition, ended up among the first three with their Ligier n°22 – Smiechowski / Still.

GT / Tourism: Duel of Italians

The reigning champions, the trio of the Ferrari 488 GT3 n°1 Visiom, Pagny / Perrier / Bouvet, start the day at the top of the hierarchy of the GTV1 first free practice just after the SF17 V8 Charriol n°96 Solution F of Charriol / Pourquie / Chardonnet. The GT of Modena is in front of another transalpine, the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 n°46 of Teneketzian / De Narda, which asserts itself in the second session by moving this time to the top position. The Ferrari 458 GT3 n°44 CMR with Sport Garage of Mouez / Loger / Petit was twice among the first three.

4 Hours Endurance Proto V de V: TFT and Palmyr test the waters

 The Bazaud / Thirion / Caillon crew, who dominated the previous meeting at the Castellet, before meeting a technical problem, approach this Dijon meeting with a bang dominating, besides the Prestige, the first free practice session. The Norma n°6 TFT comes before the Challenge leaders Vilarino / Ferté / Illiano on the n°2, while DB Autosport, who plays at home, moves the n°22 winner of the Paul Ricard Circuit, Delafosse / Vaucher / Accary, to the 3rd place. CD Sport and Equipe Palmyr occupy the 4th and 5th place with the Norma n°14 of Bole-Besançon / Scheier / Taittinger and the Norma n°40 of Mondolot / Zollinger / Thuner. The latter assert themselves in the Free Practice 2 in front of the n°14 and the Norma n°8 TFT of Capillaire / Creed / Melnikov. TFT and DB Autosport complete the Top-5 with the n°2 and the n°22, while CD Sport lead the Prestige with the n°31 – Cochet / Kirchdoerffer / Faure.
