Kenny Wilden and Rodney Randall will share the wheel of the #68 Motorsports in Action’s McLaren at Daytona

Motorsports In Action (MIA) is proud to announce its driver line-up for car #68 to race the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge at Daytona Beach, Florida, January 26-27.

Veteran and multiple championship winner Kenny Wilden of Oakville, Ontario, Canada will share driving duties with Dr. Rodney Randall of Tampa Bay, FL in MIA’s McLaren 570S GT4 #68 at the 4 hour endurance race during IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge round opener at Daytona, January 26-27.

Talented veteran driver Kenny Wilden brings an impressive résumé to compliment MIA’s car #69 driven by Jesse Lazare and Chris Green. Kenny has competed in professional racing for 30 years with a high degree of success in multiple platforms and series, including three series championships.

Dr. Rodney Randall has been racing sports cars most of his adult life and has the skill set to perform at a pace required to fight for podiums. After finishing 6th place in his first ever race in a Scuderia Corsa’s Ferrari at Indianapolis in 2013, Dr. Randall has competed in different GS Classes until settling down in the Ferrari Challenge Series for the past two years with multiple podiums, including impressive two second place finishes under wet conditions in 2015 at Daytona and Mont-Tremblant.

MIA owner Eric Kerub is thrilled to have this pair up join the Daytona team effort for a podium. “When the opportunity was presented earlier this month at ROAR (Daytona testing sessions) to have a talent such as Kenny Wilden paired with Dr Randall to drive our #68 car, we put our best foot forward to secure this drive” said Kerub. “Although both drivers have not yet driven the McLaren 570S GT4, I believe McLaren’s racing pedigree along with Dr. Randall’s experience at Daytona and his pursuit for a new challenge was the right formula that convinced the pair to join our team” concludes Kerub.
