ning race of the weekend, however the Safety Car had to be quickly deployed during the first lap, neutralising the field before they had barely completed a full racing lap. It was a short spell however and by lap three with racing back under way, Oli had promoted himself to second overall. Despite another Safety Car period to follow, he maintained the position to the pitstop window after 20 minutes of racing, handing the car over to Jasper to finish the race. The team were set to suffer their first major blow of the campaign however, when contact from another car damaged their wheel and broke the rear wishbone, ending their race on the spot – a first DNF of the season.
Looking to make amends in the second and final race of the weekend, this time it was John-Louis at the wheel to take the start from fourth in class. During the opening lap he managed to climb up to third in class, a position he would maintain until the pitstop window opened just inside the 20 minute mark. Handing the car over to Webb, he rapidly set off on a charge to move up the order. Quickly promoted to fourth in class due to their #66 rivals suffering a pitstop infringement penalty, Oli was making up his own ground and before the Safety Car was deployed on lap 19, he was now into third in class and ready for a final charge when the track returned to green. Back running again on lap 21, Oli secured one more position to complete the final race of the championship second in class and fourth overall.
