Unavailable this coming weekend for the first round of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, taking place in the temple of Italian motorsport, Mauro RICCI will be replaced in Monza by Nico BASTIAN. The Mercedes-AMG driver will support Jean-Luc BEAUBELIQUE and Jules GOUNON behind the wheel of the #87 Mercedes-AMG GT3.
An endurance specialist, this 27-year-old German driver knows the category, the car and the Blancpain GT Series well. He will undoubtedly be quickly up to speed and should allow Team AKKA-ASP to clearly show their intentions in the Pro-AM Cup. Watch this space…
