As the most high profile series for aspiring teenage racing drivers, the Simpson Race Products Ginetta Junior Championship is the UK’s longest running junior championship and takes pride of place on the BTCC bill. A proven training ground for professional racing drivers, the grid already boasts 17 entries.
Benefiting from ‘the best of both worlds’ the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge never fails to attract strong numbers thanks to its appearances on both the BTCC and the British GT package. Now in its fourth year, the all-inclusive Ginetta Racing Drivers Club package is designed specifically for the first-time racing driver. Ginetta is delighted to have brought 18 brand new competitors into the sport for 2017, and with many of this year’s entrants having already passed their ARDS tests it’s looking set to be another ultra-competitive year.
The natural progression for drivers who have recently discarded their ‘novice’ plates, the Ginetta Racing Drivers Club Plus is a popular choice amongst graduates from our year one GRDC series, although not exclusively. Entering its third year as part of the British GT support series, 24 drivers have already signed up across a mixture of full and part-season entries.

We are delighted, once again, to exceed 100 drivers in our championships alone thanks to our unique proposition of being able to take a driver from their very first race all the way to the Le Mans 24 Hour.”
Matchless in their ability to offer a route from entry level motorsport all the way to prototypes and LMP1, the Yorkshire-based manufacturer is continuing to celebrate the successes of its motorsport ladder. All part of the Ginetta family, the interplay between technical excellence, competitive single-make Championships and experienced personnel give drivers the support they need to achieve glory.
