Parker Chase and Ryan Dalziel join Truspeed Autosport for 2018 effort

It is a new year and a new program for a pair of drivers in 2018 as Parker Chase and Ryan Dalziel partner to join TruSpeed AutoSport for the upcoming Pirelli World Challenge program. Rumored earlier this week and now confirmed by team officials, Chase and Dalziel will pilot an Audi R8 GT3 machine as Chase will compete in the PWC GTA Sprint races while he and Dalziel will partner for the SprintX format of the series.

“I am really happy to finally announce a pair of very talented drivers for our program,” explained Tyler Tadevic. “Ryan is one of the best sports car drivers in North America and has the experience and speed to help take our team to the top right away. He has actually raced for me on five different occasions, in five series with five manufacturers over the past fifteen years. Parker is a young talent that has quickly found his way to the podium in PWC competition and this duo could be one of the best on the grid. To say I am excited to get started is an understatement.”

“I am super excited to rejoin TruSpeed AutoSport with Parker for the 2018 Pirelli World Challenge SprintX campaign,” explained Ryan Dalziel, who ran his first career PWC event with TruSpeed AutoSport. “I have a history with the team and I’ve been really impressed watching Parker in GTS last year so I can’t wait to get their Audi R8 GT3 on track. I really look forward to helping Parker continue his growth in sports car racing and to help put the TruSpeed AutoSport brand back on the top level where they belong.”

Parker Chase added, “I am excited to finally be able to discuss plans for 2018. I have never really experienced the full impact of the silly season but now can officially say that I have. The program was on the radar for quite some time but so were several others. I am happy that it is finally solidified, and I cannot wait to get started. To be able to share a car with Ryan Dalziel is a huge opportunity and I am confident that we can make TruSpeed AutoSport and all of our marketing partners proud.”

Set to embark on a program that will put Chase in the GTA class as well as the SprintX categories in the eleven race PWC program, a testing plan has already been established as TruSpeed AutoSport will prepare to be 100% ready by the opening round in St. Petersburg, Florida in March.

Teaming up with TruSpeed AutoSport in a brand-new program, Chase and Dalziel will pilot an Audi GT3 machine in the PWC GTA SprintX division while Chase competes in the GTA Sprint class on his own.
