Start your engines for the China Endurance Series

Following the highly successful debut year of the FRD LMP3 Series, FRD is pleased to announce the rebranding of the series to the China Endurance Series. This series is organized and certified by Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of People’s Republic of China (CAMF) and is certain to become one of the three great race series in China, alongside the China Touring Car Championship and China Rally Championship.

The China Endurance Series will feature some of the most thrilling races in China. Every race will take place on international, FIA-grade circuits and use top-spec racing cars. With full support from CAMF, the series will allow the most talented drivers from Asia and the wider world to start their journey towards some of the highest-level races in the world.

As part of the China Endurance Series, drivers and teams will battle it out for the also-rebranded FRD P3 Trophy, as well as the FRD P3 Mix Trophy for Chinese driver – non-Chinese driver combinations and the FRD P3 Cup for Bronze – Bronze driver combinations.

The China Endurance Series will kick off in Shanghai in April and it’s already set to eclipse the excitement of last year. With the grid set to expand, the number of rounds will go up to 5; 10 different races amounting to over 9 hours of exhilarating racing. The new race schedule is for this new series. The finale race will be held on the newly-built Zhengzhou International Circuit in October. The updated calendar is shown below:
