V de V Sports reveals the 2018 schedule

The 2017 season is not yet over and we still have many beautiful moments to enjoy, but V de V Endurance Series is already planning the 2018 schedule. V de V Sports wants to offer its competitors the best framework allowing them to live their passion at the fullest.

“As always, our team does its best in order to prepare the ground for a perfect play, says Eric van de Vyver, V de V Endurance Series creator and director. In consultation with the competitors, we defined an agenda that highlights the competition while controlling the costs. We will also have a live broadcast allowing our fans to join the party wherever they might be. The 2018 season looks highly promising and we already started to receive registration requests. “

These are the outlines of the 2018 edition.

SCHEDULE

V de V Endurance Series will focus, as always, on attractive, european circuits that represent a real challenge for drivers and teams. In weeks to come, we will announce the dates since we already know the destinations. The circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain and the Circuito do Estoril in Portugal will traditionally open and close the season featuring four french circuits : Dijon-Prenois, Nevers Magny-Cours, the Paul Ricard Circuit and the Circuit des 24h du Mans – not necessarily in this order. The seventh event is yet to be confirmed.

CATEGORIES

After a lengthy reflexion, it was decided not to change the category aspects.

In the European GT/Touring/LMP/PFV Challenge there will be Grand Touring cars (GTV1, GTV2, GTV3, GTV4…), Silhouette, LMP3 and PFV prototypes. The category is in full expansion and will receive, beside the current car models, the prototypes under developement , like the Pescarolo 04-LM recently presented. The LMP3s are a great success and will be present in large numbers.

There will be changes in the European Endurance Proto Challenge since the prototypes equipped with a new 1,6l turbo engine conceived by RDM will join the CN group powered by the Honda 2,0l naturally-aspirated engine. This will first take place in Magny-Cours in a few days when drivers and teams will discover the qualities of the new product whose performance matches its rival’s.

The HV Endurance Challenge stays a fundumental element of the V de V diversity spirit.

The Funyo and Single-Seater Challenge represent also a very successful category and the registration fees are extremly attractive.

BROADCAST

Wherever you are in the world, you can watch the V de V Endurance races live on the website : www.vdev.fr, on V de V Sports Facebook page and on Youtube. The program should be renewed next year with the 24 minutes broadcast all over the world. In addition, a partnership with one of the biggest world media leaders in motorsport is to be confirmed soon.

Convivial moments in the paddock continue with different gatherings and evenings organized thanks to the V de V partners. Without them, V de V Endurance Series would not be a reference on the european racing stage.
