Vita VLT have renewed their long-term partnership with Craft-Bamboo Racing, confirming title sponsorship of the #55 Porsche 911 GT3 R for the FIA GT World Cup – 65th Macau Grand Prix, 15th to 18th November 2018.
The #55 VLT Porsche 911 GT3 R will be driven by Darryl O’Young, a Macau Grand Prix and Porsche veteran, having won on several occasions in the past. O’Young will be looking to represent Hong Kong for the 15th consecutive year at the Guia street circuit with a strong performance on his return and improve on his best World Cup finish of 5th overall in 2015. His performances this year in the Porsche have proved that the experienced GT driver is hungry for victory, often fighting at the front of the field.
To commemorate their 5th year of sponsorship with Craft-Bamboo Racing, Vita VLT are hosting a three day launch and celebration event at Olympian City in for local fans to meet and give their support to O’Young, who was the first racing driver in Hong Kong to receive the Hong Kong Sports Stars Award. As an advocate for the Vita VLT “Race to Win” spirit, which pushes individuals to dream big and finding means to achieve those dreams, O’Young hopes to take the fight to Macau on an international stage and take the World Title.
In addition to the VLT are bringing the Grand Prix Experience to the fans. The popular Hong Kong drink manufacturer will be featuring a VLT-liveried Porsche 911 race car at the “Passion for Track” public event as well as commissioning limited-edition model cars that are identical to O’Young’s FIA GT World Cup Title Contender, in addition to a variety of branded merchandise.
With the support of VLT, Craft-Bamboo Racing’s technical expertise and O’Young’s vast experience with the Porsche 911 GT3 R, there is no stone left unturned in the preparations for the biggest weekend of motorsport in the Asia Pacific region. O’Young will be pushing hard to bring glory not only to VLT but to the home fans on the 17th & 18th of November.
